The Kerem Tunnel provides a unique ride and hiking experience that should be enjoyed by everyone.
The Kerem Tunnel, the first cycle tunnel in Israel was opened as part of the Jerusalem Ring Path, a 42-kilometer cycling route that surrounds Jerusalem, Israel's capital city.

The tunnel links the paths between Nahal Refaim and Emek Motza. It has a southern entrance located in Refaim Park.  נווה פריצקי Ein Laban is the closest. Nahal Ein Kerem is the northern entrance.

Elkin's Ministry, the Tourism Ministry, Jerusalem Municipality as well as the Gihon Corporation all contributed to the project. The Jerusalem Development Authority completed the project.

Elkin stressed, "The Kerem Tunnel project is a key instrument for achieving our dream to change the notion of transportation in Jerusalem." "The tunnel, which will connect to the long Jerusalem Ring Path, will join the existing bicycle routes in the city as well as those that will be paved in its various neighborhoods, in the hope of encouraging cycling among its residents and its visitors as well as encouraging the green transportation revolution in the capital city."
